Jerry Johnson was a longtime friend and sponsor of the Tehachapi Mountain Rodeo Association. His dedication to our community and the western way of life is unmatched. To let his kindness live on, we have started a new annual Jerry Johnson Memorial team roping during the Mountain Festival Rodeo to raise money for our memorial fund dedicated to Jerry. This fund will be used to support local youth in their involvement in the Western way of life (ie: covering an entry fee or paying for hunting lessons).
